When he landed in Nepal he took taxi and for next few hours he was driving through
countryside. It was cold outside so he bought some warm clothes in small shop. He stopped in small
guesthouse. He ate small meal. He went to bed early.
Next day he went outside. He was walking through forest on narrow route. Suddenly he
didn’t know any more where he is. He was walking around for hours. Sun was high on the sky when
he finally found way that was leading back to his guesthouse. He was very hungry when he came
back so he was served with soup named tarkariko ras. He was still hungry so he got food named khasi
alu mishako. Food was very spicy.
He decided that Nepal isn’t for him so he left Nepal next morning. He decided to visit South
America...

When he landed in he went to best hotel he found and he went to diner in hotels restaurant.
He ordered sushi. He loved it so he ordered new and new one. Then he was so tired because all his
travelling that he went to bed early.
Next day he woke up because of the sounds from the street. He showered and then he went
outside and he was exploring the city. He bought many nice souvenirs and food from the stands. He
ate lunch in one very nice restaurant in old part of the city. In the evening he went to concert. He
loved it.
Next day he went to hike through Japanese countryside. He absolutely loved it. Then he went
to airport and he want to Nepal. When he was flying he thought how he loved Japan and one day he
will maybe come back and live in Japanese countryside.

When he landed in Niger he first went to restaurant because he was very hungry after his
long flight from Europe. The time was twelve o’clock so he ordered afang soup. It was disgusting so
he wanted to go to another restaurant.
On the way there he saw man in black suits with hoods on their heads. He thought he saw
gun in the hand of one men so he took right turn in abandoned street. There were just some dirty
kids playing on the street. He waited until he felt safe again.
Next thing he did was that he went to the airport. He didn’t like this country. There were so
many mosquitoes and he didn’t like their food so he took first flight to Japan...

Next day he took a flight to Norway, a beautiful country on the North. But because it was morning
and he didn’t eat something so he wanted to try Norwegian breakfast so he tried Smørbrød. He went
to a little restaurant to try it so he like it. But those sandwiches are just small so he orders something
new so he ordered the dessert called Krumkake, which is a Norwegian waffle cookie and he actually
like it. he went to another city. Time passes and it was already afternoon so he went to another
restaurant to eat some lunch. He ordered Pinnekjøtt , which is a main course dinner dish of lamb or
mutton ribs. He tries it and he liked it so he eats it all of it. So he paid the lunch and went out of the
restaurant to his hotel. He slept there. On the next day he went to…

He went to Italy. First thing he wanted to try here was pasta and pizza. Because that is what is Italy
famous for. He went into a restaurant and ordered pizza. He ordered peperoni pizza. That was the
food he knew before, but he wanted to try it from where actually exists. He tries it and he really like
it. Because pizza is really stodgy so he went into a park, sit on a bench and searched for food he could
try in Italy. It was already afternoon so he needed to eat lunch so he went to another restaurant. He
sits on at the table and look at the menu and he ordered Risotto and Pasta. He got them both and
first tries the Risotto and he liked it. Then he tried the Pasta and it was just like Macaroni. He had
enough of Italian food so he went into a hotel. Next day he took a flight to…

He took a flight and go in Greece. He went into the first restaurant and ordered for the starter
Magiritsa. But it was not looking very tasty, so he asked the waiter. He was nice so he explained to
him what it is. So he tries the soup and he kind of like it. For the main dish he ordered Souvlaki. He
asked again the waiter what it is and he explained to him that it is the popular fast food in Greece.
When he got the food he tries it and he really like it. He paid and went to another restaurant in
Greece. While he was driving to another restaurant he watched the beautiful Greece. He went into a
restaurant to try a new national food from Greece because he actually likes the food. Here he looked
at the menu and saw Fasolada. He asked the waiter what it is and he explained to him. So he orders
it and try and he didn’t like it that much. He paid and left the restaurant, because he was full of the
food. He stayed in hotel and next day he went…

The last way he was planning it was to greece. He was a bit tired but he had enaugh energy to travell to Greece and try couple more dishes and than return home. In Greece he was pretty sleepy even if he didn'i want to confess. It was lunch time when he came to Greece and he went straight to bed. In the morning when he woke up he was thinking how long he slept. When he started his day in searching for specialitys and some traditional food. First thing he found was Amygdalota which is gluten-free almond cookie. He liked it because he love almost everything what includes bigger amount of sugar except soft drinks. Than he tryed Bougatsa which is kind of a sweet pie. He liked that too even more tran Amygdalota. Last thing he tryed was feta Me Meli which was for main dish.
He was still hungry but the taste of all that good food was more important.

Than he traveled to Cyprus where he was admiring how different that country is. He tryed Koupepia (Stuffed Vine Leaves) which he liked it the most from the whole travell for now. Then he tryed Cyprus-Style Souvlaki which wasn't that good in his opinion yet other people eat it almost every day. The last thing he tryed in Cyprus was Oven Macaroni. For that dish he wasn't sure if he wanted to try it but he was curious. Now the 1st place are dividing Koupepia and Oven Macaroni.

Than he travelled to Tukey where he found a list of traditional foods. First was Menemen which is traditional Turkish breakfast item is scrambled eggs cooked in sautéed vegetables and served hot with bread. He wasn't impressed but he liked that for breakfast. Than he was discovering Turkey when suddenly his stomack started hurting him. Other people said it is because he is so hungry.
That's why he tryed Köfte-balls or patties of ground beef or lamb, and can be served stewed, in sandwiches, over salads, or plain with yogurt. Still he wasn't pretty sure if he like Turkey food or not.
He make an decision, if he like on dessert he would give a good note into his notebook. He tryed
Börek and he liked it.

…but problem was that he couldn’t find any typical food from Niger. Because of this and because of
fact that his company has enough - even too much of it - he changed his planes and went to the
Philippines. Again, like on all long flights – way was long, food was middling… Plane landed in Manila.
From there he went to the coast. There he went on ship and with it to the smaller village. There was
good restaurant. It was good, because it was not expensive restaurant for tourists but just small
restaurant for natives. There he took adoba with pork. Locals really likes pork. Besides this they
often eat chickens too. And at every meal there is rice. It is their main food. Adoba was good – it was
like meat-sauce. But when he got their delicacy – balot – he just couldn’t eat it. Ballot is boiled bird-
baby in egg. You have to peel egg and there you have. After seeing that he couldn’t eat anything else,
so he went to his room.

Next day he woke up with disgusting memories. Then boss’s call remembered him to write article
about his day on Philippines. After that he didn’t have much more time, so he went on the ship and
back to the Manila. There he visited some tourist attractions. After culinary surprise last day, he
wanted to be just tourist for one day. He went to good hotel, and next day he continued his trip.
Papua New Guinea is island country, near the north of Australia. In this country it’s problematical to
travel by car. Because of this he stood at it’s capital city – Port Moresby. Again, in nearly every dish
was rice. In this part of world are many countries with food like that. Other typical dish is Kaukau or
sweet potato. Here meals are often traditionally cooked in mumu – underground stone furnace. Just
spice shortage interrupted him. And beer was little bit too warm, but that often happens here,
because they don’t have a lot of fridges.
For this night he decided that he’ll try to sleep in tent, so he lent one in camp…

After a really long flight to Niger he could see, why Africa is so poor and he wasn't racist like his frent
Benjamin Gregory anymore. He started loving those Niger's people because they were so poor. He
decided to try their sadly typical food called rice. He found it normal but he never respected it so
much. He had a recipe already of course, so he instead gave the PEOPLE of Niger his food. He met a
really nice guy Lovro who was the only »not poor« human in Niger. He became a normal man when a
kind woman took him in Slovenia to live there. Mr. Lovro was a succesfull young man. He made
money with his knowledge about video games because he was a pro streamer of Fortnite – a very
popular game in those times. So Lovro helped the cook and prepared some kola nuts that are good
for energy. The cook ate them and decided to donate his money every month to Niger. So he made
people there happy by his way to another country. His next goal was to come in Russia and drink a
real vodka!

Lovro, April 14
He said goodbye to the family and decided to eat something french! He took a flight and
arrived in Paris; the city of love… He felt happiness and joy in his heart. He could finally eat
escargot cooked with garlic and parsley butter in a shell! He knew that people find that
discusting, but he loved it! He was happy with a desicion about this amazing dish, so he took
a recipe and went in another special confectionery. He finally tried Café liégeois! He loved it
sooooo much because it tasted sweet and it had a nice hint of coffee. After this one, he
decided to go in La Celle-les- Bordes, a village near Paris. He met a Slovenian family, called
Valant. They became friends and Mr. Ciril prepared the cook a special dish called Quiche
Lorraine. It is a traditional tart with bacon, eggs and cheese. He loved it and took a recipe. The
chief was totally full, so he slept at the Valant family and the next day, he took a flight to Niger…

Next morning he said goodbye to family, and then owner of the house took him to the city. There he
went on plain. He wanted to be in former Yugoslavia again. He went to the Serbia. This is interesting
country. It has wars very often. Before first world war, this piece of Europe was called barrel of
gunpowder. Then there were both world wars and after that war at the end of Yugoslavia. But
whatever – there they have some good food. Chevapcics, sausages, kaymak (this is young sheep
cheese) or burger. In some film, man saw that in some restaurants in America they make hole
through burger. With this they save money and no one doesn’t see this. But in Serbia burgers are big,
often with kaymak. He liked it. And after this he took baklava, but he didn’t sure if this is really typical
Serbian food. He will find out this later, because now he wants some walk, then sleep and after that –
new country.

He took flight to Spain. Way was really long, so he was sleeping, reading, watching movies and –
eating. Of course he wasn’t satisfied with this food from tins and he was just waiting moment when
plan landed in Spain. He just “jumped” to the nearby restaurant. He ordered classic Basque meal
marmitako (in translation this mean “from the pot”). When his stomach was happy and when he
forgot plane-food he went to the hotel. He found out that he hasn’t forgot plane-food yet, because
he had nightmare about it. But at the morning everything was okay, so he called taxi and went to the
Catalonia. He saw more and more vineyards. And there, between this vineyards was small family
restaurant. So, he could see their wine cellar. He ordered their wine el cava. They became got friends
with family, so they promised him that he will sleep at them one night…

Lovro, April 5
He went to Japan by plane and he was really happy that his flight wasn't changed. He came in Tokyo
and he really needed a well prepared breakfast so he went in a near restaurant and ordered steamed
rice which was delicious! He was really happy with his choice and he took a recipe of a known dish.
He continued his trip and took a ride to Shinjuku to have a lunch. He was thinking what to order. He
finally decided for Noodles – Udon and soba. He tried it, tasted it really well and found out that he
doesn't like it. It was way too boiled… He wasn't happy but he still took a recipe for a restaurant.
Because he wasn't sure if he wants to try more Japanese food, he decided to fly anywhere else…
